1. Definitions

  • "Client", "You", and "Your" refer to any individual or entity booking or accessing services from Radiant Places Cleaning.

  • "Radiant Places,” "We,” "Our,” and "Us" refer to Radiant Places, its staff, and its representatives.

  • "Services" refers to all cleaning services provided by Radiant Places.

2. Use of Website

This site and its services are intended for users over 18. By using this site, you confirm that you are of legal age and authorized to make bookings or inquiries on behalf of yourself or your organization. Applicable Alberta provincial laws and Canadian federal regulations govern the use of this site and all services.

3. Compliance with Canadian and Alberta Law

Radiant Places Cleaning operates in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including:

  • Alberta Employment Standards Code (RSA 2000, c. E-9)

  • Occupational Health and Safety Act (SA 2017, c. O-2.1)

  • Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) (SA 2003, c. P-6.5)

  • Competition Act (RSC 1985, c. C-34)

Clients and users agree to use the website and services in compliance with these laws. Any violation may result in immediate suspension or termination of access and services.

6. Booking and Payment Terms

  • All bookings must be confirmed in writing via email or our online system.

  • Payment must be made in advance or by the credit card on file. We accept credit cards, debit cards, and e-transfers.

  • Services booked regularly (weekly, biweekly, monthly) will be billed accordingly.

7. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations with more than 24 hours’ notice: No fee.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice: $80 fee.

  • Cancellations within 1 hour or no-show: Full-service fee charged.

8. Services and Exclusions

Our services include Emerald (basic), Diamond (deep), and specialty cleaning packages. However, the following are excluded from all packages unless expressly agreed upon in writing:

  • Moving heavy items (over 20 lbs)

  • Laundry services

  • Washing dishes

  • Animal waste (feces, vomit, etc.)

  • Insect infestations

  • Biohazardous materials (blood, bodily fluids, drug paraphernalia)

  • Inside appliances (unless explicitly included)

  • Inside cabinets or drawers (unless explicitly included)

  • Garages

  • Wall washing (unless part of a deep clean agreement)

  • TV and computer screens

  • Fronts of paintings and decorative artwork

  • Fireplace glass

  • Major decluttering or tidying

 

Specialty or deep cleaning services must be arranged in advance and may require separate approval and pricing.

 

9. On-site Verification

Cleaners will complete a pre-cleaning walkthrough to confirm that the scope of work matches the estimate. A fee adjustment of a minimum of $100 may apply if a discrepancy is found. A final walkthrough is required to validate service completion. Refusal of the walkthrough may waive rights to complaint-based reservicing.

10. Access and Security

  • Clients must ensure safe, secure access to the property.

  • Any access codes or keys must be provided in advance.

  • Pets must be secured during the cleaning session.

  • If access is denied, full payment remains due.

 

11. Damages and Liability

Radiant Places is bonded and insured. Any breakage or damage must be reported within 24 hours. Liability is limited to the cost of replacement or repair.

12. Comments and User Content

We reserve the right to remove user-generated offensive, misleading, or harmful content.

13. Verbal Abuse and Threats Policy

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of abuse or threats against our staff. Violations may result in immediate termination of services and legal action. Clients remain responsible for any outstanding fees.

14. Marketing and Media

Photos and videos may be taken for internal documentation or promotional purposes. If you do not consent, please notify us in writing in advance.

15. Privacy Policy

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

16. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after revisions constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
