Welcome to Radiant Places. By accessing our website, requesting a quote, booking a service, or using any of our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Definitions

"Client," "You," and "Your" refer to any individual, household, business, organization, or representative who requests or receives services from Radiant Places.

"Radiant Places," "We," "Us," and "Our" refer to Radiant Places Cleaning Services, its owners, employees, contractors, and representatives.

"Services" refers to all residential and commercial move-in, move-out, recurring, deep-cleaning, post-construction, carpet, and steam cleaning, and related services provided by Radiant Places.

2. Website Use

This website is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older.

 

By using this website, you confirm that you are legally authorized to request information, obtain quotes, schedule services, and enter into agreements on behalf of yourself or your organization.

 

Use of this website and our services is governed by the laws of Alberta and Canada.

3. Compliance with Canadian and Alberta Laws

Radiant Places operates in compliance with applicable federal and provincial legislation, including but not limited to:

  • Alberta Employment Standards Code

  • Occupational Health and Safety Act

  • Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA)

  • Competition Act

  • Consumer Protection Act

Any misuse of our website or services may result in service refusal and termination of access.

4. Cookies & Website Analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Improve website functionality

  • Analyze website traffic

  • Improve user experience

  • Support online booking functionality

  • Support marketing and advertising initiatives

 

By continuing to use our website, you consent to our use of cookies.

5. Intellectual Property

All website content, logos, trademarks, graphics, text, images, videos, branding materials, and documents are the property of Radiant Places unless otherwise stated.

No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, or used without prior written permission.

6. Booking & Payment Terms

All bookings must be confirmed through our online booking system, Jobber platform, email, text message, or written communication.

A deposit may be required for certain services, including:

  • Move-In Cleaning

  • Move-Out Cleaning

  • Deep Cleaning

  • Post-Construction Cleaning

  • Large Commercial Projects

Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

Accepted payment methods include:

  • Credit Card

  • Debit Card

  • E-Transfer

  • Other approved payment methods

 

Overdue balances may be subject to a service charge of 2% per month (24% annually).

 

Deposits become non-refundable within 7 days of the scheduled service date.

7. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We understand schedules change.

  • Rescheduling requests should be made at least 7 days before the scheduled service date.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment are subject to a $100 cancellation fee.

  • Same-day cancellations are charged 100% of the scheduled service fee.

  • Lockouts, denied access, incorrect access codes, or failure to provide entry instructions will be treated as same-day cancellations.

8. Service Scope & Exclusions

Services are limited to those outlined in the approved quote, invoice, or service agreement.

Unless specifically included in your quote, our services do not include:

  • Moving furniture, appliances, or items exceeding 10 lbs.

  • Major decluttering, organizing, packing, or unpacking.

  • Laundry services.

  • Washing dishes.

  • Cleaning ceilings or inaccessible high areas.

  • Animal waste, litter boxes, feces, urine, vomit, or other biohazards.

  • Pest, insect, or rodent infestations.

  • Hazardous materials, including blood, bodily fluids, needles, drugs, mould, asbestos, or chemical contamination.

  • Television screens, computer monitors, and delicate electronics.

  • Garages, sheds, or exterior structures unless specifically quoted.

  • Fireplace glass unless specifically quoted.

  • Internal cleaning or servicing of HVAC systems, furnaces, air conditioners, heating systems, chimneys, fireplaces, gas appliances, or mechanical equipment.

  • Removal of permanent stains, paint, adhesives, scratches, dings, or other surface damage.

9. Package-Specific Limitations

Emerald Package

The Emerald Package includes:

  • Bathrooms

  • Floors

 

The following are not included unless added separately:

  • Kitchens

  • Dusting

  • Bedrooms

  • Living areas

  • Baseboards

  • Detailed cleaning

10. Steam Cleaning Services

Radiant Places utilizes professional steam cleaning equipment for:

  • Ovens

  • Tile and grout

  • Bathrooms

  • Hard surface flooring

  • Heavily soiled surfaces

Steam cleaning results vary based on surface condition, age, and material.

 

Unexpected heavy stain treatment may incur an additional charge of $50 per labour hour.

 

Carpet steam cleaning, upholstery extraction, and fabric stain treatments are NOT included in standard cleaning packages but may be quoted separately.

 

Complete removal of stains or odour cannot be guaranteed.

11. Property Condition Verification

A preliminary walkthrough may be conducted before cleaning begins.

 

If the actual condition of the property differs significantly from the information provided during quoting, additional charges may apply.

Whenever possible, approval will be obtained before additional work proceeds.

A minimum adjustment of $100 may apply.

12. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate information regarding the property condition and size.

  • Ensure access to all areas scheduled for cleaning.

  • Remove excessive clutter.

  • Secure valuables and sensitive items.

  • Notify us of fragile items, special instructions, or known hazards.

 

Additional charges may apply if significant preparation is required before cleaning can begin.

13. Access, Security & Pets

Clients are responsible for providing:

  • Keys

  • Access codes

  • Alarm codes

  • Lockbox information

  • Parking instructions

 

Radiant Places is not responsible for alarm charges or access-related fees.

 

Aggressive or unpredictable animals must be secured before our arrival.

 

Radiant Places reserves the right to leave the property if staff safety is compromised.

14. Satisfaction Guarantee

Client satisfaction is important to us.

 

If any area included within the agreed scope of work has been missed, clients must notify us within 24 hours of service completion.

 

Radiant Places will make reasonable efforts to return and correct verified deficiencies.

 

The Satisfaction Guarantee does not apply to:

  • Permanent stains

  • Odours

  • Existing damage

  • Wear and tear

  • Infestations

  • Conditions beyond our control

15. Damages, Liability & Valuables

Radiant Places is fully insured.

 

Clients are responsible for securing:

  • Cash

  • Jewelry

  • Collectibles

  • Heirlooms

  • Firearms

  • Sensitive documents

 

While every reasonable precaution is taken, Radiant Places is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Improperly secured items

  • Faulty installations

  • Deteriorated surfaces

  • Manufacturer defects

 

Damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.

 

Liability is limited to repair or replacement value as determined by Radiant Places and its insurer.

16. Respectful Workplace Policy

Radiant Places maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding:

  • Verbal abuse

  • Harassment

  • Threats

  • Discrimination

  • Unsafe working conditions

 

Service may be terminated immediately if staff safety or well-being is compromised.

 

Clients remain responsible for all outstanding fees.

17. Photos, Videos & Marketing

Photographs and videos may be taken before, during, or after service for:

  • Quality assurance

  • Documentation

  • Training

  • Marketing purposes

 

No personal identifying information will be shared without consent.

 

Clients may opt out by providing written notice prior to service.

18. Privacy

Radiant Places respects your privacy and protects personal information in accordance with Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

19. Recurring Service Pricing

Radiant Places reserves the right to review and adjust pricing for recurring services annually.

Clients will receive a minimum of 30 days' written notice of any pricing changes.

20. Severe Weather & Safety

Radiant Places reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to:

  • Severe weather

  • Unsafe road conditions

  • Building emergencies

  • Circumstances beyond our control

 

Clients will be notified as soon as possible and rescheduled at the earliest mutually convenient time.

21. Modifications to Terms

Radiant Places reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

 

Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of any revisions.
